Dundee Sharks Basketball is currently celebrating its 10th Year Anniversary!!

Dundee Sharks Basketball Club was established in 1995 and originally formed due to the success of Lawside R.C Academy former pupil side at district, regional and national level. Since then the club has expanded largely with grass roots development beginning from eight year olds, all the way up to a senior level. The Club is recognised as being one of the fastest growing clubs in Scotland.

The club now has team’s competing in the basketballscotland RAF Scottish League:

Season 2001/2 was for the first time that Dundee Sharks Cadet Men competed in the National league and finished in a well-earned joint 4th place.

Season 2002/3 now has Sharks team’s competing at not only Cadet Men but also at Cadette Women and Junior Men level. 

Sharks also have a Senior Men and Women squad’s competing locally in the basketballtayside league, cups and the Presidents cup.
